My name is Lizzie Lewis, and I am currently a graduate student at Auburn University (War Eagle!) studying Public Horticulture. My emphasis is in educational research, more specifically education programs in public gardens. I hail from the great state of Texas and, even though I love Alabama, I miss it at least once a day!

I have always enjoyed writing, but never thought I was very good at it. It started in high school, as with most teenagers, with a composition notebook that served as my journal. Since then I have continued to write personal interest pieces for the sole purpose of getting out the things I don’t know how to say out loud. I have dabbled in song writing (I can just barely call myself a guitar player), and maybe one day I’ll write this stuff down more cohesively and start a book! But for now I just like writing things as they come to me.

Other activities include gossiping with my mother on the phone, harassing my friends through Snapchat, lacking financial self control, and consuming entirely too much sweet tea. If I survive grad school I’d like to start a career in education, or maybe get my PhD.
